Old Concho

Old Concho property is mostly owned by the descendents of the original founding families.  The homes in Old Concho are interspersed with small farms and ranches. Houses in the original town site are a mixture of old homesteads and modern homes.  Century old adobe structures, cottonwood trees, and scenes of horse and sheep grazing in the fields of the little shell shaped valley remind you that Concho is truly an American western town.

The Ranchlands

Outside of Concho, the ranch land is vast and varied.  All around Concho are large cattle and horse ranches that have been in families for generations.

Interspersed among the large ranches are mini ranches settled by modern homesteaders who have built their dream life in the White Mountains under clear skies, pleasant weather and far away from the crowds. 

Antelope, elk, eagles, and hawks are a common site in the ranchlands outside of town.
